Just bought a bearing cap style drive shower from CP Performance and would rather not drill holes in my Bravo 1 outdrive. Anyone have a tip on mounting brackets or alternate methods for the mounting pickup hose? I'm thinking of something similar to the halo type showers, where they mount to the trim ram on either side of the drive. Not sure if that setup will put too much pressure on the bracket, or the water pickup.

I thought the same thing when I ordered mine. I finally said screw it, it's not like it's ever coming off. So I drilled it.

My concern is not in drilling holes because I can do a clean job of that. It is more a matter of not wanting to introduce a point for corrosion to start. There has to be a either a pre-made bracket or a technique that I haven't thought of to securely mount the shower. BTW, the boat is a 2006 so I still cry a little over each new scratch.
