She just called me and gave me the full report. She said the cup was intact and the skunk was making blind circles for about ten minutes. She considered trying to pull the cup off it's head and then she reconsidered that thought and decided to leave it alone.

Whoever put a cup on the skunk's head needs their own head checked.
