So, I got the flu almost 2 weeks ago and finished that off with an ear infection. That was confirmed a week ago Friday. I am still taking amoxicillin and such, but does anyone know how I can get my ear to pop? It's fricken annoying and I can hardly hear anything (which does make sleeping much more fun).

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Sometimes the wax build up makes it hard to pop when you have pressure from the inside when your sick, a friend gets some kind of "wick" thingy and I think you lay on your side stick this "wicky" thing in your ear and actually light it to draw the wax out..this is no shitt, I didnt see it buy his wife said it worked. Dont know where he got it from.

We have used earwax candles for years, I love them. This summer I was barefooting and crashed on my ear at 40 MPH. The earwax candles drew all the crap out of my ear, and there was alot. I've tried hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, all kind of stuff. The ear wax candles work the best. :)

I used to use a 38 special in the ear for a while, but the 357 mag. seems to get rid of it faster. Just make sure to plug the other ear before pulling the trigger - (It's really loud)! Seems to get rid of that infection pretty fast. 54.gif 11276yb624_1_.gif

I've dealt with ear issues for most of my sons life, enduring 6 different surgeries to repair damage and reconstruct the outer ear with grafts and prosthetics. Plugged from being sick is hard to clear up but for water my Ear specialist Doc gave me a formula he has surfers use to get the water out.
Mix white vinegar and Rubbing alchohol 50/50 and dilute to 1/3 with distilled water, use eyedropper to instill.

I laughed when he gave me this, I said that close to what I use to clean my boat with:D:D
