Guy in town has built a bonneville car. Met him at a track meet (our kids go to same school). He was wearing a B'ville shirt, so we started talking.

Camaro with a EFI Blown Hemi. Awesome build thread that I'm linking. Currently 48 pages long and over 4000 views.

I linked to one of the early pages showing the procharger going in.. It's f'in huge!!!.... Great read-- but you'd better have some time to kill...

Ap67-- I know you'll be interested!!

It's amazing how hard they're working on their car. The in car views are spooky. Making the power is one thing.. Hooking it up is another thing all together.. Dave's engine is still at the shop. Not sure what his plan is.. He's traveling more than I am..

Yeah,, what ever happened with V drive gears,, and what tuning are you doing?
LOL-- Don't worry Barry. I'm not touching your work. Only thing I did was check plugs early on and adjust jetting. Other than that, nothing but gas and oil changes.. Exactly what I'm capable of handling.. Rest easy Barry.

New gears are in the box (down to 29's from 37's ). Box was cleaned up and new seals installed while apart. Bearings looked really good. Has been re-installed in boat. Waiting on some parts and help to finish up install of Sea Strainer and re-plumb water lines /oil lines. I want a strainer for the lake we boat at. Strainer has two outlets. One to motor and one for oil cooler and v-drive. Neato!! I didn't like the lid for the strainer. Way too many bolts and nuts to drop in the bilge. Friend is making a collar to trap the nuts and a trick mounting bracket off of the cav plate blocks.. Boat will run in next few weeks. I think.

Here's a few pics that I pulled from the linked site (post #1)

These guys are my new heros.

Motor when they switched to EFI.. They had been trying to make MFI work but got tired of beating their head against the wall..

They upgraded their turbo in '08.. Notice the old impeller in the foreground..lol.

When a valve breaks on the top end... ouch!
