Fiberglass pools

Has anybody here done an install with any of the large manufacturers. Leisure, SanJuan, etc. Pros and cons would be greatly appreciated. I've been quoted for gunite(18x36) free form for 21-22k, just thinking about a winter project for myself. I'm a GC so construction experience isn't an issue. Thanks.

we had 1 in st/geo(10 years ago)it was12x24 and cost me 11000$ instaled, all the concrete/plum/filters,filled up and ready to go.i paid 700$ extra to have it put 3 1/2" lower in the ground and the concrete came over the edge like a plaster pool does, never had any probs it worked great(and still is,i know the people that bought my house).also they stay warmer and easier to clean.if i ever do 1 again,i will do it myself, i watched then do mine and the hardest part was the leveling, once its level you start filling with water(slow checkn the level as you go)and back fill the dirt with the water and make sure the water and dirt stay the same as you fill;)
Thought about the same thing here. I thought the hardest part would be the plumbing.
all the plum/pool light can be done before you set it in the ground, just run everything long, set the pool then hook up the elec/pump;)
Let me know if you do a fiberglass pool redneckcharlie,
I'll come up and help, so Ill know how to do mine.

Thanks for the offer. Thats a long boring drive to dig a hole. LOl. I should be getting pricing this week. The unknown is the shipping cost.
