For you Verizon Fios users they just jacked the available speed for $2 more per month. It is suoopse to be something like 8 up and 15 down, but mine is 10.1 mb/s up and 24.90 mb/s download!

Just curious when you got fios installed did your monthly bill go up or down or stay the same with the all three package deal they offer?

According to the test, I'm getting about 8 download, but the little computer/antenna symbol on my toolbar says 54Mbps, which is why I've never switched. Seems plenty fast to me.

I think the 54MBPs you see in the toolbar is just the transmission rate capable between the router and your computer.

Now i`m pissed, i have the same deal and got 19.6 down and 6.7 up.
It gets worse, the little woman says i am paying close to $60.00 for this speed

It slows at times, but still blazing fast. They will be installing a new modem, old d-link might be the problem.

Now it is 12.33 up and 10.55 down. it might be the modem.

My commit is around a year old now, modem is less the first one was replaced about 6 months ago. The speed i quoted was the laptop on wireless.
