Obama knows that his tax hike on everyone over $250K will only fund the government for only a week or so. He doesn't want a deal. He knows that his legacy is on the line as to unbalanced budgets and high unemployment and a stagnant economy. If he makes the deal so hard to agree to, he knows that everyone's taxes will go up, he'll have more money to play with to advance his march towards socialistic capitalism, and the republicans will take the blame for higher taxes, higher unemployment, and a recession that we're heading towards anyways due to an over regulating government and Obamacare. He'll be able to blame his incompetence on others again.
I'm in Utah Chief. Southwest at best. BTW I'm a transplant from So Cal. :happy:You Midwest Peeps are way to logical!!!)THumbsUp
On a lake, in Utah could be anywhere, dude. Sometimes it means Nebraska, sometimes it's Florida.:stir::happy:I'm in Utah Chief. Southwest at best. BTW I'm a transplant from So Cal.

My apologies. I send greetings from.... Puerto Rico?? Or is it Alaska? In this case it means in freakin Utah!!!
Truth is: He just as well go on a 3 week vacation, as he hasn't a clue what to do. All he can do is run his mouth campaign style, spurting his rhetoric and boosting senseless gibberish the Left holds find so mesmerizing. He has NEVER offered any resemblance as a Leader nor will he EVER, he is simply a professional campaigner. This "fiddling" should be of no surprise. Even the Dems are scratching their heads as O is offering NOTHING in regards to the "cliff". He does not have the fortitude or skills to negotiate with any members of the House and Senate and he hasn't the experience or a clue as where to begin. It really is sad. The POS will continue to "fiddle" then he will blame the "right" for obstructing his "balance approach" as the GOP are nothing more than greedy rich bastards. This happens to be the biggest economic problem our nation has ever faced, to date and he's fiddling while Rome burns:....
Least we forget he became a multi-millionaire while serving as President. $10,000,000bama.This happens to be the biggest economic problem our nation has ever faced, to date and he's fiddling while Rome burns:
The Obama family is taking a 3 week, 4 million dollar vacation to Hawaii while the rest of us worry about the fiscal cliff. Is anyone else as outraged as we are????? While he's asking us all to share the "wealth", he's taking a major vacation on our dime!!! Oh, the irony!!!!!

hilMy apologies. I send greetings from.... Puerto Rico?? Or is it Alaska?Unsure
I would say Calif. but that might get too confusing.
Isn't that funny how that worked. As a senator he needed help qualifying for a home loan to the point that he needed that crook Tony Rezko to work a deal for him. Once he became president he makes millions. Sounds a little fishy to me!! Just like all the other crooks in congress who have made million while in office.Least we forget he became a multi-millionaire while serving as President. $10,000,000bama.

You realize part of O's plan he had geitner present includes giving him (O) absolute control to raise the debt limit. We the middle class is being killed off for sure but this is complete suicide taking the authority away from congress and giving it to O. I have no problem going over the cliff and seeing a depression kick in under O's watch for the second time. Maybe some of the O supporter idiots will wake up then, who knows. I think it could have the same affect you describe with a red sweep but throwing up the white flag and just giving them everything is just plain suicide for the country. Keep him a sitting lame duck achieving next to nothing the next 4 years and I call that a win.Like I've said before, I think the republicans just need to tell the public that in order to keep the middle class from getting screwed, they're going to sign on to the democrats plan despite the fact that they know it won't work. Once the lay off notices hit, the economy tanks, and the shit hits the fan, they can come out and say I told you so. There will be a red sweep in congress.
If they do what's right, there will be no deal, we'll hit an economic wall, and the democrats and the media will point the finger at the republicans and there will be a blue sweep in congress which will lead to a complete meltdown of the US economy.
