I just replaced my holley bowls on my 850 4150dp with quick fuel quick change bowls with fuel sight windows. I'm planning on starting the boat up today. Prior to installing them is there a rough position to set the needles to get the thing started? I'm not sure how high in the fuel the floats float? Thanks

Just level them up using the bowl for square. I just just eyeball it. Usually close unless the carb sets on the manifold with a lot of angel.

Take the lock screw off the top of the needle/seat assembly but leave the nut on there, adjust till the top of the needle/seat assembly is in the exact center of the nut, reinstall the lock screw without turning the nut and you should be very close.
