I was going to throw the engine back in today but I ran into a problem.

I for the life of me can not find the damn bolts that hold the flywheel cover on. Its like they grew legs and headed for the lake with out me.

Any one know the size of them?

SBC, Glenwood cover. If i remember correctly some are a little longer than others.

The will be 3/8"-16 (coarse thread). Measure your cover thicknesses at the various spots,, allow about 1/2" extra into the block

Thanks guys I did find them. I put them in a special place so I wouldnt lose them. I just forgot where that was.
