Didnt take me long to find one, it's a little 11ft boat according to the ad, the reg says 14ft but i havnt measured it yet. Reg also says it's a 1975 montgomer. It needs some work. I think i'm going to patch it up for this summer and when winter comes it's getting stripped down to nothing. What i really want to do, dont know if this is going to happen.... Convert it to a jet using a small pump from maybe a wave runner or somthing and install some type of 2 or 4 cyl V motor, Over transom headers, guages, maybe 2 small buckets, foot throttle, new steering and paint or gel it to look like my 18ft boat. My little guy hasnt seen it yet, he should when he gets back from his mothers here in a few min... He's going to be excited!!! shit i'm excited!

These are the original ad pics, the weed wacker in the back isnt mine...

25 hp wacker right now.

Not too much room in the back, not sure if i can do this conversion but i want to try!

Those are bad ass!:)devil The boat looks like a remote controlled toy boat!hil:)
No, just messing with ya. Looks cool, after you get the whacker off the back of it. Will be unique as hell, when you get it converted over to a jet. What about putting an inline 4 cylinder in it somehow, like a Nissan or Honda motor? They can put out some serious power, with a little work and a turbo or two.:D Or you might even be able to fit a V-6 in it. The possibilities are almost endless with a boat that small. Do you think a wave runner pump would have enough flow to push that boat? Because that ain't no wave runner. What about a Berk. fully set-back? I don't know, just throwin' some ideas at ya. Good luck on it.

I dont have enough room for a inline, thats why i was thinking like a 2 or 4 cyl V motorcycle motor. A full berk wouldnt fit, the motor wouldnt be strong enough to spin it well either. THis boat is pretty small. I think maybe one of the pumps off a 3 person seadoo might work well considering those things are about the same size and weight alot. THis little hull is build light!

Looking at it more it has one stringer down the middle and looks to only go down half the boat. I'll need to convert that to two.

I dont know if it's going to happen but i want to try, no mater what pump i get in this thing it's going to have to be resessed to the max! how far can a pumps intake be sitting out the back :)hand

i started a post about that but got no info back on it. Aggressor lists that jr drive for around $2k if i remember correctly too which is too much for somthing i'm not even sure if it will work. One reason i wanted to find out what those jr drives where on was to see if i could find a old one for cheap. You can find jetski/seado pumps on ebay pretty cheap but if i had a mini version of a pump in a real jet that would be sweet!

The jet ski pumps will not handle the power it will take to make that boat run good. The Jr. pump will, and it is a good working pump.

I think I saw that thing up on Craigslist. Congrats on the new project. My buddy has one of the those small boats called an Addictor with a 30hp outboard, and its a blast. Good luck with the jet conversion, and be sure to post some pics.

In the late 70's (gas crunch) those little boats had a short lived popularity ,very cool !! Pioneer (here in Atascadero) built quite a few ,had Tahotsu (sp) motors kind of a precursor to PWC's Tom

V-Quad Price

What's that about $100,000 worth, if not more.
Contacted the company and the price of a natural finish complete engine is $19,995. This includes carbs and crank trigger ignition system. Not as bad as I originally thought, but still pretty pricey for a 4 cylinder.

Think about a nice lightweight Mazda 13B twin turbo rotary motor.
