Question: I have a mechanical Boost guage, autometer ultra lite marine pro comp. My boat no longer has a blower. Can i run a fuel line to the guage to montitor fuel pressure? It's the type of guage that measures vacuum and boost. Autometer does not make the guage i want anymore, which is a low psi mechanical fuel guage in that same face/trim. Rex Marine said autometer makes an electric fuel guage now, but i'd rather just run fuel to the boost guage if it will read properly. Thanks!

You can do anything until it ruptures...

This seems like a bad idea all around, I can't imagine the gauge itself would even be up to sealing gasoline since it is made to measure air pressure.

One of the guys at AutoMeter once told me that "pressure is pressure" and I could run air/fuel/oil, etc to any of their pressure gauges. The internals were the same. A lot of people don't like the idea of fuel pressure at the dash, and prefer the electric gauges. My STV has 60psi fuel pressure to the back of the 0-100psi mechanical gauge, at the dash.
