Im going from a 3/8 line into a 5/16 port and then back to a 3/8 @ the pump.

Will the change in line size affect the pressure? Mech Edelbrock pump BBC

Im getting a fuel valve for dual tanks and the ports are 5/16
Standard fuel valve for a chevy truck :)devil

Before you say it , ive seen it done on ALOT of boats:)grn

If you're talking about just a fuel tank selector valve and it's 5/16", run it, normally they are 1/4" and the seem to work ok, I like to see the fuel filter right after the valve though, it seems to even out the fuel flows better, you've got a fuel pressure guage on there, just keep an eye on it at speed and see if there are any loses, I doubt very much there will be one...Just another idiots opinion though...I like mechanicals for the reason that they are not effected as much by low inlet pressures as much as an electric because they don't overheat.
