currently ran across a deal for two spun aluminum tanks, 11.9 gallons each. i was contemplating buying them and installing them beside my headers in the boat since thats pretty much wasted space. a friends brought up the idea that i may have too much weight in the rear, and in removing the bow tank the boat will be very hard to maneuver. is there an ideal center of weight distribution in boats? i can dial in land racers like no ones business, but floating is all new

whats your opinions on such?

More weight off the bow means it'll run drier. This is usually a good thing on a jet boat. My wife's boat had the tank in the bow but it was moved to under the gunnels. Much better setup.
