I was wondering if anyone can clarify the differences beteween changing one from the other in a blower application. I understand hard anadozing and so on. But if one was set up for alocohol. could you just use it on gas application or what would you have to change. Thanks, Brian
chemically the systems are no different, gas vs alky, the differences are in like Fiat said, in the valving, (Barrel Valves) nozzles, jets, and brass check valve settings, alky is a cheap racing fuel, it makes the best power for the money, is more forgiving than even the highest dollar Fuels, and it's only draw backs are easily over come, just dont look for great fuel mileage.....it isnt going to happen, in Hot Rods, you dont get to have both Performance and economy......turbos are a little different, as long as you dont go to boost, you start leaning on the engine with Manifold pressure, ...things change after you do that,....
