hi im making my wireloom right now and i got hardin marine gauges and on the back of the gauges there is an (i,o,s,g)

guessing i = igniton (power)
g = ground
s = signal
o = ????

can somone tell me what the O is for? thanks in advance

Per their instructions, the "o" terminal is labeled N/C for "no connection". See page 3 of this pdf---> Hardin-Gauge-Instructions.pdf
