Thats a nice boat in the picture.
If that is the boat you want to fix forget the $35 kit .
Save up some $$ and get it fixed by a pro.
Yeah I was going to do that. Some idiot left his canopy in the channel unoccupied and the wind blew it off base and the metal leg put a little scratch on my boat.:|err

I thought i could get a temporary fix before getting a pro to do it.

I got a dime sized chip in the white part of my gelcoat and was quoted $600.00 to fix it. I bought the kit and filled it in and sanded it down. Color sanded with 1500 grit, then polished. I know where it is but nobody else can find it.

The Evercoat product will work fine for a quick fix appl. if a good solid color match and correct repair is not in order now, definitely go for it! it is usually a bright white Gelcoat...but I have seen many different shades of gray come from the same manufacturer,...I Wonder if its old stock that is used? old gel is not a friend of mine, the curing rate changes in many ways the older the product gets! just like old resin it turns to shitz! (unpredictable)
