Watching the CMA's tonight and the tribute to him,and it is so sad as he has the evil disease Alzheimer's but it was cool to see the music tribute to him and the camera panning back and forth to him in the audience and the performers on stage. So sad when he took the stage his wife and a friend had to guide him up to the stage. He is on a final tour,I hope he comes close as would love to see him.

He is a cool guy that has been through so much drama,so sad this now.

I fly allot and see many people in waiting lounges. Noticed i had sat down next to Glenn in DFW as we waited for connections. We had an hour long conversation, he was way down to earth, he gave me a bear hug as he was called for his flight - He was coming from Branson going to Phoenix. people then ask me who that guy was, i just said a new friend. God bless him.

My mom had the biggest crush on Glen Campbell...she died from Alzhiemers almost 2 yrs ago. If you know someone who has it or worry about getting it...I been there. Here is how I view/viewed it. My mom didn't know me for the last 6 yrs of her life. People would say "oh it must be hard since she don't know you", my response was always the same. "I still know who she is". Last sentance that came out of her mouth to me that made sense was "I don't know who you are, but I know I love you".

So don't sweat it...time with someone you love is more important than being able to recall names and dates. It's just simply being able to hug and kiss them.

I saw Glen on one of the daytime talk shows recently. He seemed aware of what was going on and sang a song with a band that later was announced to be his children, 2 boys and a girl. His recall and of the lyrics and voice were right on and his guitar playing was spectacular. He's always been one of my favorites and I wish him the best.

Just watched the tribute to Glen..... It was very well done and touching. My Pop knew him well and would often tell stories of the things they used to do, unfortunately I lost my Pop to a heart attack set on by a stroke a few years ago. But I know that he would have loved seing this tribute. It is very sad that he is having to face this but like he said in an interview earlier in the night "he's glad it is ending the way it is" Seems he has come to terms with this and that is all that matters.
