Anybody else out there had a problem with the sewer project having you listed as having septic system when you actually are already connected to city sewer. Any info that might help me avoid any nightmares would be appreciated.

Thanks

Did you own the house when the sewer went in.??

If you didn't ask your neighbors that have been there awhile. They should know. Your street is torn up for about 6 weeks.

Also your septic tank would have been torn out...so the clean out would be gone.

No we bought the house brand new and we have been paying for sewer since day one! But they are trying to say we have a septic system. If so mine must be connected to one of the neighbors because I do not have a septic tank on my property.

how old is the house and who was the builder.. I may have the plans

also you can go to county health on Collage Dr. and get a copy of your site plan. if you are on septic county health will have the plan if you are on sewer they will not......take the info to the Community Development Dept. and your problem is solved.

I know I am on sewer the problem is it doesn't seem like everybody on their side knows. As I said above I have the bills saying I have been paying sewer since day one. I am trying to avoid any nightmares and gather any info that I can.

I hope they dont get on my block for awhile yet. Just had the landscape done and want to enjoy it for a little bit before they dig it up. Also, don't want to pay the 2k for the damn sewer connect. They are wroking on it down the street from me but don't know if they are going to continue the whole way on my street yet. City notice said early 2010 for my sewer stuff.

I worked for the company that is doing all that work for years....good company you shouldn't have any problems. Make sure to video your yard and the front of your house before they start...just in case:D

Well my husband just got back into town and they have torn up some of our yard and our sidewalk. We never got any letters about any of this going on and I am assuming because we already had sewer but yet we are on a list saying we are septic.

Where are you at. I'm above the high school off of Empress and they are getting closer to my street.

How can you be on sewer if they are just now getting the in that area? No sewer in area you have to be on septic.

Is it possible that as part of your escrow they made you pay the sewer fee in advance and that you are still on septic until the lines are run and connected?
Maybe Rick...But not the case for Marc..
