Havasu TV Service

I have Direct TV and I use the same account in Havasu. $5 a box. Lorne from Havasu Wiring installed it. RiverRats on here.

I love Directv, Dish IMO SUCKS, GF has it and it pales in comparison to DTV. Cable is my second option if I ever leave DTV but I won't, NFL PKG and I never have interuptions.

I have recently had Direct tv installed in Havasu and have been having some reception problems with some of the channels. Hopefully, it can be remedied.

Is this on the HD channels Marc. I change over to the reg channel when this happens. Mostly at night.

Mainly HD channels. I have not been able to receive channel 9 or 11 at all up there in the past month. Some of the other channels freeze up alot also.

I have had DTV since 96 and love it. We have the service in Orange and used to bring a box with me to either the RV or the House in Havasu but for only 5 bucks a month extra I just leave one in both locations. They even know one receiver is in the RV and they dont care which I hear is not the case with Dish. They dont however know the one is in Havasu though, they just think it in another room of my Orange house.

I had that issue at home and as it turns out the dish they just installed was the wrong one. Not sure how that worked out but once they replaced it everything has been fine.

Lorne added something to my dish to make it alot better. He said its because I'm getting the LA feed and I'm about out of the satellite coverage.

Does Direct need a phone line?
