Those are really nice stuffing boxes but a little more than I want to spend. Does anyone have a brass one kicking around there not using.

I would not use that rudder after it is plated!!!!!!!! j.j.
It was originally plated but was starting to get rusty. Is there something wrong with replating a steel rudder but making off the shaft this time? It's on a 85mph lake boat.
