MY friend (my tow ho too and one of my best buds) bought this jet, had new stringers scabbed in, Put a motor in it, then brought it to my shop to plumb and rig, new cables, etc, after some thought (about two seconds) I decided he was getting a new subfloor

That was after I cut the first square of glass back.....complete mush


Then as u can see I noticed the stringers were Mia under the glass completely rotten so they got cut out

Hi I am guessing That much rotton wood you pulled out,, The bulkhead and transom before glass is shot, Check the strinngers were holes are already drilled for water damage. ??

Well he got a deal on the boat, so I told him we could get it going, affordably complete budget build, using all my spare parts, which is good and kinda bad, some I probably would of saved forever or never used, plus giving to a good friend so he can make some noise in the water, plus fun bitching at him

Surprising the transom bulkhead are decent enough to run, bulk head no rot and transom fair

I wanted to torch it...a few times, to date my toughest time with a glass job, just wont cooperate the way I wanted and was not up to par, my buddy said "eff it" "it will be fine" but I couldnt stand it, cut and sanded, reapplied and sanded and the carpet down.
Seats and fuel and he will be water worthy...i think....

Exactly...Ok this week short block will be built, planning on filing my rings tonight...in my spare time....
this "friend" has an enclosed and a one ton that will be pulling me to the races...priorities?!?!
Dont get me started on my rent houses...still another laundry list of stuff to do, not have to do stuff, but up keep...part of it, plus i like the stress and anxiety
