That would be a shame
That would be a shameWhen we were redoing "Panic Mouse" I was wondering about the old NDBA records and where they were located. What I was told that none of the NDBA records were archived. They have apparently been discarded. What a shame. If that is not the case someone please correct me because I would like to see them too.

The boat had NDBA high point champion on it when my dad and uncle got it, in the same spot where the world record holder had been. HE said if anybody can check the NDBA records. The boat went from 006 when Brendel drove it, to 589 which was rip smiths number. They had to put a 1 in front of the number at Dayton to race, and then my dad was given the number 703.

Rip Smith was my dad. He passed away in 1999Same boat different motor. Mike brendel owned it first and sold it to rip smith which is who my dad and his brother bought it from. Dave Wayt is my dad and bob is his brother. It's the real deal, there's no reason for me to bs here. My dad was 99% sure the record was set in UBGF but I didn't post that because it wasn't 100%. If anybody has a way to get ahold of mike or rip, send them in here please, my dad would be thrilled.
