Le Rivage is another place just down river from Old Town. It just opened last year. Very nice place.

Not sure the Delta King has docks by the hotel. I would say by far the best place is the Embassy Suites. They have docks and close to Crab Shack , back door and other Kool places in Old Sac. I docked new years eve in front of Joes Crab Shack and watched fireworks.
La Rivage is new hotel South of Old town a few miles with new docks and a Scotts Sea Food Restaurant there. It is Right across from the Sac Yaght Club where catsass and I have our big boats. If your there give us a holler, we may dinghy across and meet ya.

HAVE STAYED AT BOTH SEVERAL TIMES (RIVER KING AND EMBASSY) EMBASSY IS BIGGER,COCKTAIL HOUR (A MUST AFTER A DAY ON THE RIVER) AND THEN BREAKFAST BUFFET IN THE AM,EVERYTHING IS WRIGHT THERE YOU CAN SEE YOUR BOAT FROM YOUR ROOM AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PRETTY COOL ABOUND RAISING HELL TILL LATE (YA TUNNEL T IS MY FRIEND AND I STILL HAVE YET TO FINISH A MEAL JOES CRAB SHACK WITH OUT GETTIN KICKED OUT) DONT INVITE TUNNEL T UNLESS YOU WANT FREE COCKTAILS.START THE BIG TAB AND THEN THEY KICK YOU OUT.ALL GOOOOD....devildevil/B]

just called rivage ,there rates are 219/nite where as if i could remember the embassy was somewhere about 160 /nite + you get a happy hour from 4-7pm and buffet breakfast . the better choice would be embassy becuz the hh and breakfast alone knocks mt room down to a whopping 10$/nite !!!!!!

Ya, it was $149 a nigh. The happy hour and the breakfast was worth the stay. I think we put them in the hole for the happy hour alone.
What a weekend! The boat cops were out in force, BUI Check point in front of Discovery Park. These cops were the biggest dicks I have ever dealt with! They all were looking to bust you for any reason. I had a cop on a seadoo chase me down after I passed the check point and tried to give me another test. Then he came back down river and was about 4 feet from my boat going the opposite direction, so close he splashed us. Had a few beers so I really could not chase him down…Otherwise I would have gotten his badge number and turned him in. Seriously never seen anything like this before.
