I Have a 19' Eliminator Daytona, how far back should I set the intake? Right now if i were to put a pop off valve on it, it would be very close to clearing the back of the boat.

set back

If your planning on using a popoff valve, consider setting back just far enouph to clear it. Woul dkeep you from carving out the transom at a later date. Keep in mind you may need an additional 3/8" for the backing plate. This should leave your inlet under the hull still. You don't want to have the inlet opening any further than the rear most point on your bottom. That's what I've been told by the ones who know.
