It is a good thing my boat wasn't ready to run. There is no way I could tow my boat to a race out west this time of year and not have it fail. Between the road salt and brine splashing up on the boat and trailer, rain water or melting snow on the boat, it is a doomed proposition before I pull it out of the shop. If I had been coming to race, I would have been on the road today. It's snowing here and raining south and west of here. Even with the best cover available on the boat, the bunks would be wet from road spray.
I guess I'll just have to put enclosed trailer on the list of things to have before I can plan to run the boat out there.
