I have a lean pop just of idle on acceleration on the trailer or under load. I went threw the carb twice. The timing is 34 total. Need some help!

If you can, lock out the timing advance altogether.

What carb is on the thing?

Bob carb is the original 800 Holley. I swapped the carb from the other engine and it took care of the problem. It has to be something I'm missing in the carb.

Possibly a blown accelerator pump diaphragm. Check to see if the primary shooters squirts fuel when you pump the throttle.

Oh yah plenty of fuel from the squirters and has a new 50 cc accelerator pump too

Have you tried backing out the mixture screws a little bit more on the primary side, and make sure the idle feed restrictor passages in the metering block are not plugged up. It may be too lean on the idle circuit, which can still play a part at only 1500 rpm as it may not be pulling good fuel from the main metering just yet.

Of course make sure your transfer slot/throttle blade is set up correctly.

Too much squirter will make one hesitate also. If it stumbles as soon as you throttle is hit it's not enough squirter. If it doesnt hesitate immediately but right after it starts to rev, too much.
