If you are presently only making enough power that you are running a B/C ATJ, you probably would not gain anything from a HTP Hi-Helix. I believe it would have to be cut so small that it would loose it effectiveness.

What rpm are you turning the B/C? How much HP is your engine making, and at what RPM?

If your pump is tight now, meaning the 6400 Rpm with the American Turbine BC is reflective of what the engine is putting out, you probably could use an American Turbine AB. Without seeing torque curve on engine hard to say if you have enough TORQUE to use an A cut. I have no firsthand experience but have been told going to Hi-Helix is like going up one impellor.

I really like my Hi Helix B cut. 6100 rpm in my Rogers about 750 hp, 94 mph on GPS. Aggressor 9 vane bowl, PD mini droop, PD, stock intake, no ride plate or shoe yet.

780 @ 6200 I turn it to 6400.
Well, with that much power in that rpm range, you might like a "B" cut Hi-Helix. It should turn about 6000 RPM with your engine and have a hell of a hole shot.

That's what I looking for is hole shot.Top end is triple digits. This whitewater boat bottom is not like a glass jet.Meaning the intake setup is completely different,no loader, shoe, ride plate.

That white water intake puts a different light on the whole situation. That intake will be your limiting factor. The HH impeller will not be able to get the water it needs with that intake. Just worked on one that would not come out of the hole very well. It ran 61 MPH @ 5700 RPM with the white water intake. We took it out and welded in a regular Dominator SS intake. The boat now runs 70 MPH @ 4800 RPM. You can tell by those numbers that the white water intake was starving the pump for water. So, back to your original question, the HH B will probably help some, but may also need an inducer in front of it.

Already has a inducer. And I added the spoon,it was surging some up top, that helped.I also use a 3"nozzle trying to in a way back up the water. When I first built the boat I got a complete aggressor pump from you with a bronze B.It did seem to hole shot better. Then I swithed to a dominator pump.Had to many issues with the agg.Im thinking maybe getting a prepped B stainless from you and that should help a little.Once it loads it pulls hard with the B/C.I know this boat will always suffer some down low.

I've also helped those intakes by grinding the opening of the intake in the back, (for about two days), and making it an inch bigger, (longer). Then I extended the grate bars to match. It helped, but I won't do it again. WAY TO MUCH WORK for the gain.

Give me a call, and we'll discuss some other issues with those intakes. 417-858-8616

..

Get your impeller detailed and do some testing, Its a cheap try .. Should give you the hole shot your lookin for

This is good advise. It should help, and if it doesn't get you to where you want to go, you have a very sellable piece.
