AB962 Ammunition Sales Bill

In short AB962 would cause the following:
- No person shall sell or transfer more than 50 rounds of handgun ammunition in any month unless he or she is registered as a handgun ammunition vendor. This includes giving your family members ammunition.
- Establish a database maintained by the department of justice to serve as a registry of handgun ammunition vendors
- Handgun ammunition may only be purchased in a face-to-face transaction. This means no internet sales of ammunition.
Please be sure to contact each Senators office listed below. It'll take you no more than 5 minutes to call all of them. Then send an e-mail to them as well. We need to voice our opposition to this bill.
If you don't know what to say when you call, you can say this:
- I'm calling to voice my opposition to Assembly Bill 962.
- The person answering phone will ask for your city or zip code, and possibly your name.
- That's it, you're done!

According to the NRA-ILA updates, AB 962 will be heard by the Senate Public Safety Committee on June 30th - we've got eight days to flood the SPSC members' mailboxes and inboxes with rational thought on the issue of ammunition sales!!! More updates as they come.....

Alright guys this ridiculous bill has passed the Assembly and moved to the Senate for a vote - not good news at all and we've got work to do!! It only passed by ONE (1) vote so that tells you how possible it is to defeat this thing!! Here's the latest documentation - PLEASE contact your representatives and let them know where you stand!!
Find out who your representatives are - contacting the senators below ASAP is the most important thing right now since this is headed there for a vote next:
