Hi, I'm not really up on the lingo with the correct names of things. In reference to carburetors, what is an air horn? Is this the circular diameter of the top of the carburetor? I'm pretty sure it is, but I want to be sure.

Also on a side note. Does anyone know the center to center of a 871 weiand blower with Holley 4500's?

Thanks for the help.

I believe the term is refering to the part of the carb that houses the choke butterfly on the primairy side. This casting is many times milled off of the 4150 series Holley to help increase air flow. On the newer HP series Holleys that area has been smoothed and rounded.
