Can anyone assist me with an intercooler hookup for a blown jet?
"t" off of the jet pump water outlet, seperate water pickup on bottom with a seperate pump or?
Maybe a neovane pump off of the timing cover or seperate electric pump?

Also, need a one wire alternator and the brackets. Can anyone point me the right direction on brackets and pulleys.
remember, there is 8mm pulley on the crankshaft. Mike Kuhl used to make a pulley that bolted inside of the lower supercharger pulley.

Plumbed mine so that the engine "only" is cooled/regulated from the standard pump outlet. Then machined the bowl for another outlet to run the inner-cooler, then one of the exits from the inner-cooler goes to the headers, other dumps. I found that I can keep the engine temp more consistant. Aslo ran #12 lines to the engine to gain flow/volume with less pressure.

i have mine plumbed from jet to pressure relief valve thru a strainer then to intercooler to motor then out=

jet picks up alot of stuff so you need to keep that stuff from plugging the intercooler plus pressure needs to be i think no more than 25 lbs to cooler

i am running a blown 540 8-71=18 to 20 lbs water pressure to cooler / water temp stays around 150-160

ive heard that the intercooler should only be cooled when the boat is under way, not sitting idle. when its not in boost theres nothing really to cool.

most of the vdrive guys just run their intercooler, oil, and trans/vdrive pieces off of a pickup in their cav plate. I'd think that a jet you would be doing the same but with a pickup in a ride plate, to a bulkhead fitting, and then thru the intercooler, and then dump it into the exhaust or back out thru the transom.

i also went with a cam drive water pump to keep engine temp happy/consistent and just use my jet pump water supply for the exhaust.
