If you click on the link in the ad, I like the part that says the boat didn't meet their expectations and only runs mid 70's.

I would be afraid that when I trailered it, it would take off and it would be like towing a kite to the ramp. :D

Hmmm.... okay, seems a little much to do just to get a hull to lift, I wonder if it ever lifted into the air, like an airplane?

After reading the website looks like it was to help it lift because of the weight of the fuel tanks. Had to have lots of fuel for a long run to try to set a record. They said they were dissapointed with the performance, I can't help but wonder if the wing made it worse than it had to be with all the weight and any additional drag, plus what would happen if you hit some good wind gusts? Wouldn't it likely lift a little much and end up coming out of the water or nosing down into the water? Dangerous it sounds to me....
