Ot Exhaust with logs

Hey guys, I have searched and cannot find a definetive answer to my question. I'm building a boat and planning on running logs with old school aluminum it pipes. My question is do I split the dump line between the dump and the ot pipes ? If so do I run a Bassett tee? Thanks in advance.

I have ran OT pipes with log type manifolds for years on my BBC jet.
The incoming line from the pump splits with a standard brass T and goes into the bottom ports at lower rear manifold holes. This filling the manifolds up from lower rear area and cooling them.
The front port on the manifold higher up connects to the water pump ports. This allowing the water out of top front at manifold and into the motor at the water pump ports.

Water exits motor via the T-stat housing/cap. That cap itself is split with two barbs and has left and right hose going back to the ports at OT tail pipe tips. This spit cap eliminates a need for a T. That is how mine is set up.

I hope this helps clarify. This is how i do it anyway.
