Hey guys been gone awhile since i sold my boat and i am now looking at another but i have a few ?'s. The boat i am looking at has a Jacuzzi pump
is worth putting the energizer kit in it?? I'm not concerned about the cost just more or less the performance of that kit versus pulling that pump and doing a setback unit. Any feedback is apprecited.

The American Turbine Energizers are well worth the investment IMO .The performance and efficiancy gains are huge for the YJ , (not quite as significant for the WJ, and the WJ is a decent performer in stock form) The big advantage for the WJ comes when the parts are either unavailable or the cost of parts and repairs excedes the cost of the ATEnergizer kits . We have sold built modified and installed dozens of these over the years we outstanding results and solid feed back . The other big advantage is the ability to "employ" various Berk/AT style bolt ons such as Droops , Diverters , wedges etc Call if we can help Tom

Well Tom with that in mind when i look at this boat what will tell me the difference between the two pumps?? YJ or the WJ.

One of the most obvious indicators beyond a legible ID tag , is present on the Bowl outside the boat A non energized Jacuzzi WJ will have a grease Zerk dead nuts in the middle top , a YJ will have a 6 inch long "u" shaped nozzle adjustment (or possibly a trim ram) device the is held in place by 6 countersunk allen heads Tom

if you dont plan to go to much over 70mph, my yj with an energizer kit on it has one heck of a hole shot!! this thing rocks!!

Thanks for the info guys. I'm not planning on building a high H.P. boat just a nice river cruiser but i hate the looks of a Jacuzzi pump in stock form.

Ill take some pics of my WJ. Its not a bad little pump mine is fresh less than 10 hrs, has a diverter and a 4* wedge
