If you are going to only use one pressure port, I think it is best on the side of the pump suction housing, one inch ahead of the impeller. I think alot of racers, test there, as well as on the top.

I went 1 high and 1 low, right now my upper port is reading 13 psi higher than the bottom. I still have a little loader left below the keel though.....in fact I think that's on my todo list for today.
