Its comparable, although I would still lean towards Brad Penn, Gibbs xp4 is hard to beat if the price is right. What is a killer deal?
What BradPenn were you using? If you were using a multi weight BP, it is a partial synthetic, the Gibbs is not.
And the Gibbs xr4 is more expensive everywhere I have ever seen it. I guess it comes down to availabilty, and price.
If the BP you were using is product number 7123 Premium Penn-Grade, not to excided. Better than most, but not up to the stuff below:
If it was 7119 Penn-Grade 1 and its cheaper than the Gibbs, personally, I would stay with it.
