I got my first BRX 24 bowrider in yesterday. I already have it all rigged with a new MERC 300XS. This is the BADDEST bowrider anyone is ever gonna see! I'm no bowrider guy, but this boat is COOL! Here's some pics. Here it is at 1:00pm yesterday.

The Merc is waitin for it's new home!

I got Eric to climb in under the dash to hook up some hydraulic steering. Skinny little bastard, ain't he!

Tons of storage up front. Also lots of storage under each console

Behind the back seat is storage and brackets for a wakeboard and skis

Big storage under the back seat too.

Passenger cooler locks in and is easily removed

Speaker pod and drink holders

Sweet! I've been eyeballing those, but you don't see many on the West Coast.

• What is the combined weight of the boat/motor after rigging?

• What are you expecting to GPS at with the 300?

•*How does that hull come up on plane with the 300? OK for pulling up a skier?

I'm wondering how the boat will do in any kind of chop? It's 24' but it seems like the entry on the boat is very shallow? So the last 3 ' up in the bow aren't doing much.. if anything?

Looking forward to seeing how it runs Wildman!

I'm thinking mid to high 60 mph range. 65 - 68mph is my completely uneducated, ball park guess. :)

I'll run it in the next few days. I'm thinking 72-74 mph. I just ran this new 24 closed deck last week and it ran 77.4 with a stock 26" Trophy prop.

My guess is it will run in pretty good size chop...that pic is deceiving on the trailer...I test drove a checkmate years ago around the same size and those boats are built for bigger lakes..

Sweet.
What would one expect to pay for a setup like that?
