Im sure its considered alot of coin for a boat in these parts but a killer boat none the less which I figured some of you may at least be interested to check out. Think last time I boated with Derek it was hitting about 83 and wasnt even set up "loose". Accelerates and handles like crazy too, sweet boat.....

Man that's not shit, this Bahner ran 83 with less than 450 hp:

.
That boat was fun.

And it's not even a "tin can" boat and it had a 12 year old impeller, no shoe, no ride plate, just a junk yard engine with heads an a tr.

Come back when you have something that can compete ;)

I think Sleeper is just having some fun with Quickjet James.

Nice looking ride.

How's everything going up there?
I detected his sarcasm, maybe I didnt do a good job of mine tho !

Not bad, hoping to do a good run this weekend, shoot some rapids etc. Other than that still dealing with the incident from June, cops are so clueless around here, the guy has been charged but only with mischeif under $5000, meanwhile some clown last week points a laser at the city chopper and gets a slew of charges including this little gem "mischeif endangering life". Im not saying that guy shouldnt have gotten that, but wow how big a rock do you gotta throw at a moving boat before the cops clue in that it could have killed us, or at the least rendered me unable to navigate the rapids downstream of where we were. Im choked and its been really REALLY hard not losing my cool over it all Im trying to deal directly with the prosecutor but thats not an easy task. Think my next plan of action is to courier a rock the size of what hit us to the head of the police force and ask him what he thinks about it hitting someone while operating a motor vehicle , and no Im not kidding I think I may actually do that......
The guy has yet another appearance next week, and the mischeif charge itself isnt even right, the damage estimate was $7500!

50 grand?? I knew the tin boats were expensive, but for a 2002 boat with a smallblock? DAMN. So much for ever being able to afford a tin boat. I have a hard enough time seeing $75k for the twin big block cigarette boats. Guess im just a cheapass.

You're not the first tlo react that way lol

Just try to think new boat prices because these boats hold value very well. lets face it that orange boats hull could have been underwater since it was built and would likely be nearly as good as when it was new. From what I recall that SB was a high dollar build, a very strong engine with lots of the good stuff. I know it pulls like a mofo, Derek just needs to learn to stop following me in my 17 :D

(Thats him following me into the wroooooong side channel in this video hahaha)

Whats the grate look like on these? seems that rocks through the pump would be a problem while sliding over the rock bars.
On mine... like this.....(yes usually with the rocks stuck in there :D )
