i know were a Kurtis 500 is that i know everything about it. the hull is similar to a taylor sj. has a berk and 454 that was built balanced and blueprinted both pump and motor about 25years ago and still runs strong and has never lost a race. i know there are faster boats out there but this one will do 80 stock like it is still with an old motor. only thing is i dont know what these boats are worth. it needs a new floor and interior. the motor and pump need to be gone through, the cables are probably locked up by now i know it hasnt moved in 2 years and the owner getting to old to use it... the work it needs i dont think its worth 1500 and his 'wife' thinks its worth 5000. honestly only a fool would pay that much for something that needs that much work but someone told me these boats are rare and the hull is worth 3g. so does anyone got any input on this? the only thing the boat has going for it right now is the paint job is still good and it looks sexy on the trailer.
