So the boat has been sitting in a hangar for a little more than two years. About a month ago I went out with a friend to see his Malibu. We were cruising along and a jet boat blows past us just staring us down! I thought to my self you SOB, now Its time to bring the Boat back out!

So its been sitting for 2 years, old gas, frozen carbs & oxidation. Needs new water lines , bilge pump and I have brand new Basset headers for it that have been sitting also.

I got the Carbs cleaned and the gas tanks cleaned out. I ordered a new Holly "Blue" fuel pump and regulator. Originally the Boost gauge was mounted in the rear and I am going to run it up front now. So I have to pick up all the lines and fittings. It does feel good to have the boat back at home! I also noticed when I pulled the gas tanks the vent lines weren't even attached!

I have also been looking on Ebay. You can get one for around $70 but i dont know the quality.

as for the hull Its a Hondo.

Ya know yesterday when I was leak checking the fuel lines and setting the PSI on the regulator. I stopped and was amazed that I could see the aluminum bottom in the fuel tank through the fuel. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but they have never been this clean!

I had a loose tank and since I was going to pull it out to get the hull and tank ready to remount, I noticed that my tanks were almost as clean as if they were new. That is cool.

well I got headers mounted, Scoop came in, Painted alternator, Most stuff shined up. I took a Fine Polishing compound and did the whole boat just have to wax it now. Also mounted the boost gauge up front and finally put my trim rings in. I'm still waiting on one more and a new ignition switch.
