Here are some Tahoe road trip pics....

We did have to suffer in the EXTREME heat up there as well as the river...it was 119 at the river on Tuesday afternoon when we left...that night in Tahoe was 49 and the next day it shot up to almost a record hot day at 88....but it calmed down to an average of 78-81 so we survived...

Stopped at a few towns on the way up to take some pics....wife has never been so I didn't put the "NO STOPPING RULE" into effect while driving from point A to point B while on a trip because we have to get there in the shortest time possible......

So needless to say we have over a thousand pics...a great time though that is for sure...

First few shots are of a town called Goldfield NV, old mining town...next are from Hawthorne NV an old Army Ammo Depo town...right below Walker Lake

I've done that trip many times, 95 from Vegas to Carson City. Good thing that I know all those towns by memory cause I can't see any pictures!

thanks for the comps..a place called the lodge right outside the keys then 3 nights at a rental in the Tahoe Keys.

I should have taken the boat, the lake was very calm most of the time...next time for sure...

We stopped and ate at a place called Maggie's (At least I think that was the name)...very clean place, great people to...she gave me a short history lesson on the town...very interesting that is for sure....
