Should be able to get the boat out this weekend to test/tune with a wideband o2 sensor.
What optimal lambda readings am I looking for with E85 572 N/A engine at idle, midrange and WOT?

Here's my E85 Lambda table,

On the left side of the table is load, reading from vaccuum at the bottom to boost at the top, reading in kpascals.
The 101 kpascal point is 0 vaccuum / 0 boost. That will be the highest point you'll get to with a N/A engine. Shoot for around .83 lambda.

Here's a conversion chart to psi,
KPA to PSI Pressure Converter

RPM reads along the bottom so the idle speed area is at the lower left side of the table and the high rpm/boost is at the top right.

Cruising speed you'll be around 70 kpascal / 3000 rpm.

Had it out last weekend to test and no reading at all at idle. Midrange cut in and out and WOT showed lean. I believe this is from welding in the sensor bungs 4" from the end of the open headers. I will make up an extension and try again next weekend. Not sure how long to make the extensions. I think I will put in my muffler inserts as well to create some back pressure.

Yep, you too close to the end of the header. Back pressure is ther real problem but it could possibly help get readings. But then, it not be exactly the jetting you need if you reamove them. If you normally run the inserts, then by all means, install them. But if you do not, I would just try the extensions. You getting fresh air across them during the overlap period at low R's. Unchained would understand overlap. To turbos guys, overlap is a huge full time exhaust gas recycler. TABOO!

I had to run baffels to get good readings! Makes for a steady reading!
