PM's but he rarely is in town on the weekends.

if you need something fixed tonight or Sunday give me a ring, otherwise I think your waiting till Monday just to get on Lance's list;)
This is just a potential future project deal, certainly can wait... Is a 454 Chevy a good motor to rebuild and beef-up without going too crazy ?!?

The 454 Gen IV is one of the most built and bullet proof blocks out there, you can take it up to 500 cu in if you want, tons of heads to use, throw a 4 1/4 stroke crank at it, etc....
Wouldn't know a Gen I or IV if it was staring me in the face, in a boat that was built in 1994 if that help. I am sure I will find out soon enough.

Lance is good...

I've used him for years,to service my boat...
He rebuilt a pair of whippled 540's for a buddy of mine...after a reputable builder had taken him to the cleaners in building them.
...now that he's on his own,he seems to have developed some people skills, not quite as abrassive as he used to be.
The guy's gotta be one of the better wrenches in Havasu.
