Where could we find a loader for an R intake on a placecraft or possibly have one made? The old one is toast but can use Same dimentions for a new one. 734-502-1030

Someone can set me straight on a ongoing question I was told never powder coat a loader only use spray paint due to spotting stress cracks/cracked loaders on removal when checking your loader true or not ??

Has to your intake been modified to take a OEM Berkeley style loader? One with a loader boss cast/machined in the intake? If so there are multiple places to buy from, the ones listed above and MPD.
Don't buy the ones pictured above unless you are making thousands of horsepower.

Be safe, schick

The ones pictured above will work just fine. you can cut the center section out a little at a time to get the max performance. the problem with the ones pictured above are all blocker. with about 2" cut out on the center leading edge will be a good starting point for say 800-1100 HP

those 2 are standard R intake loaders for stock Berkeley R intakes. some people have modified R intakes to accept the 4 bolt loaders that we all use. the R intake in the fastest and quickest jetboat out there has a modified R intake, and uses loaders with the 4 bolt pad like the rest of us.

not everyone has a fixture to manufacture an R intake loader. because there's pretty much zero demand for them. and like tim alluded to, the blocker effect of the things makes one wonder why anybody would waste their time with one. they were popular 30 years ago before anyone launched from a 125' rope.
