So as stated I'm loosing rpm and power on the big end intermitiinly. If I'm in it all of a sudden ill feel a loose of power for a second or two and then it comes back to life. It's not dieing but just loosing enough to feel. Any ideas? This is a 500 inch ford with a dominator turning 6300 rpm

Fuel system, check/change filters, confirm wfo fuel pressure at the carb, make sure the pickup in the tank is in tact.

Plug wires, check out the distributor cap

Put a fuel pressure gauge where you can see it at wide open.
It could be any of several things, but inadequate fuel pressure will do exactly what your talking about.

Is this a new set up? Sounds more like a fueling issue than ignition. Try what Jimsplace said, you may need a little more pressure.

has it ran before correctly with this tune to confirm it is a failure of some sort? electric fuel pump getting weak,, too lean of any sort, (detonating from lean) , not enough octane or too much timing?plug fouling,wire misfiring ?
