Robin at Specialty Machine.
602-841-9690 Off Grand ave. between 35th ave and 43rd ave.

Zimmerman and MHP are both great shops I would also trust. I don't know if Mike is doing machine work at his Loper's shop, and I know the Loper's store does not do machine work.

Eaton Enterprises, they have a website.

Go check their place out and you will be a believer. Its top notch to say the least, had a small job done there a few years back and was blown away by their facility and staff.

What are you looking to have done? If you want a 5 inch bore space, 738 cubic inch that makes every penny of power you can squeeze for all out racing, then Rick Waters Racing is your place! Or if you want to go comp racing in the NHRA. (There is no such thing as Eaton Enterprises anymore. Rick Waters bought the whole shop. Same quality, different name.) Perfect quality, and not cheap! http://www.rwrengines.com/
MHPMachine is great if you want to build a blown alcohol big block that will have power to spare, and last a nice long time. (they are great at that) http://www.mhpmachine.com/
If you are building a plain jane high power boat big block with some used parts and need great quality and not break the bank, head to Specialty Machine. You will get priceless advice, a good education and probably a life long performance friend.
But it all comes down to the big questions. What are you looking to build, and what are you looking to spend? Because the answers to those questions will determine where I would go. So it would determine where I would send you.

x 2. I would go with Rick Waters (Formally Eatons, I have the letter that explains it if interested).. They did the machine work on my lifter bores and installed the bushings.. Good people to deal with!!!:)devil
