Whats up Alex? Here is your old Pic of the Challenger. I have the Daytona in my avatar now with the motor and pump out of the Challenger in it. My friend has the Challenger now. We just dropped a BBC and a pump in it and its back on the water.

Hey, I've got a quick Challenger Boat question...

I have an 81' Challenger 19'

How are they on the water? I bought this boat as a non-runner in late April of this year and have completely re-done everything, literally everything, from the paint and upholstery, to the motor and the jet.

I'm hoping it is a nice setting boat. When the engine and jet were out of it, I could easily lift the rear of the boat off the trailer or shop dolly no problem!

I thought that was a bit wierd as it just seemed like it was too light but...

The one I had in the picture above was a pretty heavy hull around 650lbs I think. Its works great as a lake and river cruiser and was pretty quick with the motor and pump that was in it. It had a little porpoise in it I think it got worse when I added a droop. The new pump thats in it has no droop or diverter and it seems to ride better than it did. I really liked the boat alot.
