I am thinking of swapping a LS into my jetboat and trying to decide on fuel system. I want to try to make sure everything is coast guard compliant, but that seems to be fairly difficult with EFI. I have been collecting parts for years and have a mercruiser cool fuel III module that I was planning on using. The low pressure lift pump is bad but it appears to be a walbro pump thats easily available. Seems like there`s a lot of people who hate these things on stock boats though and say they are nothing but trouble. By the time I buy the new fuel pump, filters, and the module to engine hose (I need the proprietary fitting that hooks to the cool fuel module) it would be more expensive than just buying a volvo style fuel cell. https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Volvo-...966665?hash=item5b514c1d49:g:HGMAAOSwXx9b2B2J Does anyone have experience with either of these systems? they both seem fairly complicated an prone to issues. My other thought is to use an aeromotive A1000 marine pump, but it looks like they recommend a 5/8 feed line? or to just put a aeromotive/walbro/etc high pressure pump in the stock tank and run Shields 368 Series A1-15 Low Perm Fuel Hose all the way back to the engine. Anyone have any other pumps/hoses that they have used with good results?
