It seems the lawyer in Hussein has come out. Now that Gitmo is not an option any longer, we must now give American rights to terrorists, so that we can try them in American courts. What the hell! It will only cost the taxpayers tens of millions of dollars. But wait, the ACLU will probably get a lot of that money defending these murderers. What happens if some of these terrorists are found not guilty? Will they be released in the States? Which States? Will they go on welfare? Should we provide them with a college education? Hussein will provide for his fellow Muslims, at our expense.

Taking the time to read an enemy in battle his rights will cause many needless deaths from both sides. This is war, not a criminal arrest.

Someone with The Buffoon's military experience and IQ wouldn't ever understand the difference.

2nd or 3rd step

We will be conquered from within, remember? Is this the 2nd or 3rd, or 4th step in that direction? Not only do we find them not guilty, we welcome them within our borders to continue their missions.

I doubt the ACLU will be very "transparent" in their "silent" partner type involvement. As an organization that pushes the constitutional issues the hardest, they will be hard pressed to find anywhere in that document that supports the messiah's ideas of how these Gitmo "detainees" should be handled......This moron has brought us to a lose lose situation that has no fix, short term, or long term......Ray

Congressman: Soldiers 'Mirandizing' Enemy Combatants

U.S. Rep. Mike Rodgers, R-Mich., who is just back from Afghanistan, says that captured foreign fighters in that war-torn country are now getting “Miranda” warnings after capture and prior to questioning.

In a Fox News account, reproduced on the lawmaker’s Web site, Rogers says, “I witnessed it myself, talked to the people on the ground. What you have is two very separate missions colliding in the field in a combat zone. Again, anytime you offer confusion in that environment that’s already chaotic and confusing enough, you jeopardize a soldier’s life.”

A big question is: Does HusseinO really have a plan and these out of the ordinary moves of his are part of that plan?????

OR

Is the man just plain stupid and as inept as he appears to be??????

I say move all active "real" military down here to TX and just sit back on our bases. Let Chairman O gather up his enthusiastic followers and send them over to continue the battles under his asinine rules. Set his skinny big eared asse up on top of an armored vehicle with full CoC in the field gear and let him lead into battle. When they're all dead or completly overrun, we will then send the real military back over and end the damned thing under supervision of the Pentagon.....All I can do is wait with hope for change at this point.:|err

HusseinO has got to have a side bet going with bin Laden that he can F--k the USA up more and quicker than al Quaeda.....And he's going to win.

How, in anyone's mind does the Constitution of the United States of America extend to non-uniformed enemy combatants (terrorists) on the ground in a war zone in Afghanistan or Iraq or anywhere else in the world?

Such enemy combatants aren't even subject to, nor adhere to, the Geneva Convention or globally accepted rules of war or rules of engagement.

Read them their right to remain silent.

Then silence them.

I suspect our troops will figure out that it will be less complicated to just silence them.

Hey you Kenyan voters, please explain this one to us all so we can understand it. When the rights are read, the statement is made that an attorney can be provided for them. Do we now need to have lawyers in the war zone for the representation of enemies in war?

The list of stupid ideas grows daily. Only a democratic controlled administration could come up with this insanity. Do their welfare payments begin the day they are captured? Do they all get asylum to live in the U. S. now? Do we now need to teach their language in our schools? Where does this madness end?

Admit it, please! You who voted for chairmanO have made a monumental mistake against the constitution and our country in general. The price we will pay for your vote is beyond our pay grade as productive Americans.
