i bought an 88 eliminator for my first jet boat. on the title it says its a run about hull type. is this good and what does it mean? people have told me its a rare hull type.
think of it as if it was a car title
a sedan or a coupe ,only thing you need to worry about
is the numbers match the hull Id and all spelling is correct.
eliminators are very good just my opinion
Mine is listed as a ski/bass. I wouldn't worry about it as long as all the numbers match and everything else jives as stated earlier. My last jet was listed as a runabout as well. I think they do it here in AZ because there isn't a catagory for jetboats?
runabout is what the majority of the fiberglass boats with engines under 22' are labelled runabouts on their titles. The remainder are mostly labelled as sail boat. The make and HIN are the only thing that are important.
