I've been doing some research into jet boats recently. I have a very extensive knowledge of big offshore boats, and Big Block Chevy's. Mother nature played a nasty prank on us here in Texas last year and left us with a lake with no water. I sold off the last of my big offshore boats, and I want a quick little river runner to play with this summer. Been looking into finding something on ebay or CL to put an engine in. I have enough engine parts to build a small fleet.

The question is, where is the best place to find stuff? What is out htere? Looking into a few guys that are actually making new ones. What is the deal with these guys? Who builds them? WHat are the best pumps these days?

My friends are telling me something like the TX-19 is allways a fan favorite.

I am a long term member under Offshoreonly.com if you guys need a reference, I am under the same screen name over there.

Looking to jump on something pretty quick as we are all ready in and out of boating weather here.

I have a few buddies that are looking into doing this as well.

Help me get started.

THanks in advance for the help.

Thread is supposed to say NEW to jet boats.

I have replied to a few for sale threads on here.

I have seen a few of these 21' Eliminators. Did they only make them in V drives? or do they make a jet? And are there any for sale and what is a price range?

THanks

Hey Jeff,
Didnt you sell that center steer NorTech? Sorry to hear about the water levels. A jet is a great way to go to get on the water...! While there not the fastests, I am partial to the bubble deck Jets.... Good luck on your search... Check on here daily, it seams you never know what you will find...
